These stories and messages of love and unity are so important. Especially now....

There are family in my life that I have different political beliefs than I do. I don't share my beliefs with them in order to keep peace. What's more important is the loving relationship we share.

Then there are people who know my political beliefs but don't agree. I admire them for loving me as I am. We don't discuss politics. We have a mutual love and respect for another.

There is a nostalgic social media group I belong to, where we talk about our childhood in the 70s. Many people share old childhood photos and share difficult stories about loved ones they lost. I know we have so many different political beliefs among us. Moderators won't allow political discussions into the group. This group is so kind loving and supportive of one another. Putting our differences aside allows for the best of us to shine through. Love and support is our common thread.
