That is wonderful! A 48-hour turn around time is incredible. I'm willing to wait two weeks. But it is a courtesy to hear back. Exactly, because as you said, you wonder if it wound up in spam or the editors are caught up working on something else. Because I do realize they are doing it for free, which is incedible. But it does only take a moment to be polite. Like I said, I'm okay with a cut and paste response. I'd just like to hear something back.
